Material authorised during the exam

As per course description, a written summary, up to 4 double-sided A4 pages long, can be utilized during the exam. It can be handwritten or digital, though the font used must be size 9 or larger. The summary is to be handed in at the end of the exam.

  • Read each question all the way through before you start answering.
  • Answers are to be written in English.
  • Answer the questions in the spaces provided.
  • The size of the spaces does not necessarily correspond to the size of the answers. Some spaces will therefore be much larger than the expected answer.
  • Answer all the questions. If the answer to an exercise is not clear or does not specify all the points, describe in your own words how you interpret the data.
  • Ambiguous answers are systematically misinterpreted.
  • If you are unable to calculate a numerical result for a question, give the mathematical formula used to obtain the result.
  • If you need more space, use the blank pages at the end of the document. end of the document. Indicate the question number clearly.
  • If you need even more space, you’re doing something wrong.
  • You can write with a fountain pen, stylus, pencil or erasable pen erasable pen (Pilot FriXion), but don’t write anything in red.
  • Write legibly. Any illegible answer will be considered wrong.

  • Cheating

    As mentioned in article 29 of the ‘Règlement sur la formation de base en HES-SO’ (or equivalent for any FH/SUP/HES), any cheating or attempted cheating will be penalised by a mark of of 1 for the entire course and the non-acquisition of the corresponding ECTS credits.
